Special tests are conducted in addition to those included in a comprehensive eye exam to determine the proper fit for contact lens. This includes Keratometry, where your eye doctor will measure the curvature of your cornea to make sure you are fitted to the correct size of contact lenses. Your eye doctor will also fit you with specific contact lenses to meet your individual needs. If this is your first time wearing contact lens, your eye doctor will provide you with a contact lens training session to teach you how to put on contact lenses and remove contact lenses. The training will also include the proper methods of cleaning your contact lens, if applicable.
